Explain how technological shifts have changed work before and how AI may change tasks now.
Research a Gloucestershire sector, employer and vacancy, including what the role involves.
CV and application workshop
Produce a complete working CV; explain what makes its structure clear and relevant; tailor it to a selected vacancy.
Draft a short covering letter and practise entering accurate information into an application form.
Digital job search, AI and professional visibility
Search and filter vacancies; set a job alert.
Write a basic prompt to improve a section of application writing, then check and personalise the result.
Explain how a LinkedIn profile and consistent evidence of skills can help employers find and assess them.
Understand GEO (generative engine optimisation) as an emerging idea about visibility in AI-generated answers, without treating it as a guaranteed route to a job.
Interviews, workplace readiness and guided next steps

Read a sample payslip, consider the financial change of starting work and describe employer expectations. Use a simple problem-solving method.
